Daisy Ramos, MA, LPCC
My name is Daisy Ramos, and I am an independently licensed mental health clinician (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University, with a minor in Integrative Behavioral Health. With both academic training and hands-on experience, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the field of mental health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings, where I have provided care to adults, adolescents, families, and led group therapy sessions. This broad experience allows me to approach each client with a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face in their mental health journeys.
As a clinician, I am dedicated to offering high-quality, individualized care that honors each person’s uniqueness. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, focusing on creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe in the inherent worth and potential for growth in every individual, and I work collaboratively with clients to empower them to make meaningful changes in their lives. Our work together is built on trust, mutual respect, and a deep understanding of each client’s perspective, recognizing that healing is a journey that takes time and compassionate support.
In addition to a person-centered foundation, I integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness practices. Inclusivity is a core value of my practice, and I strive to create an environment where all clients—regardless of background or life experience—feel seen, respected, and heard. My goal is to foster a therapeutic space where clients from all walks of life can engage openly and work collaboratively toward their personal healing.
