I'm accepting new clients
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, parenting challenges, and other experiences that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we explore patterns of thinking and behavior, build practical coping strategies, and identify the strengths and resources that support change.

Danielle Simmons LPCC, LPAT, HTR
I believe that each person has the capacity for growth, change, and resilience, even during seasons when life feels particularly challenging. We are shaped by the environments in which we grow, but we are not limited by the conditions in which we begin.

Reaching out for support can be an important first step toward understanding yourself more fully, finding new ways to navigate difficulties, and reconnecting with what brings meaning to your life. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward the changes that matter to you.

I believe resilience is not about having to manage everything on your own, but about developing the tools, connections, and self-understanding that help you move through life's challenges.

With a background in art therapy and horticultural therapy, I also appreciate the ways creativity and our connection with the natural world can support healing and personal growth. I welcome opportunities to incorporate creative exploration, art-making, and nature-based approaches into therapy when they align with a client's interests and needs. Sometimes growth comes through conversation and reflection; other times, it comes through trying something new, making something with your hands, or discovering a different perspective.

I believe therapy is a process we navigate together, at a pace that respects where you are and where you hope to go. You bring your own experiences, strengths, and understanding of your life, and my role is to offer support, perspective, and tools along the way. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin.
